St. Francis Retreat: Saturday, November 1st. All Saint's Day Retreat at the St. Francis Retreat in San Juan Bautista features Brother Bill Short, OFM, speaking on "Sanctity, Insanity and You--a fool for Christ." Includes lunch and dinner. Optional overnight accommodations are available for Saturday night. Call 831/623-4234 for more information between 9:30 am-6:00 pm.
Lectors: An evening of "Formation For Lectors and Preachers" will be hosted by the Diocese of Monterey at Nativity of Our Lady in San Luis Obispo on Wednesday, October 29th from 6:30--9:00 pm. Instruction will be in both English and Spanish. All Lectors and anyone thinking of becoming a Lector should please attend. If you wish to deepen your understanding of your role as Lector and enhance your presentation skills, please contact Chris Bausch at 239-0601 (days) or 239-9059 (evenings) or call Rosemary Fryer at 238-2054.
There will be a table outside our Church for sign ups after each Mass.
Kermes TODAY!: Don't forget to come join The Hispanic Community's Kermes (Mexican Fiesta) in our picnic grounds. The Kermes starts at 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. There will be DJ music, a variety of delicious Mexican food and games

All Saints Day Party: Looking for better role models for Halloween? Try the Saints! All families are invited to join the Catholic Homeschooling Families for an All Saints Day Party here at Mission San Miguel on Saturday, November 1st at 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm. Children must come dressed as a Saint and be ready to say a few words about their Saint to help other children guess their identity. Hot dogs and carnival booths will be provided. Please bring one bag of candy per family and a beverage to share. For more information, call Vivienne Higuera at 237-9778.
San Miguel "Busy Bees": Will start taking orders for See's Candies after every Mass. Delivery will be on November 16th. All proceeds for our Building Fund.
Thank You: To our "Guardian Angel" who keeps the Office Parish bathrooms stocked with soap and tissue.
Mission San Miguel Cupboard for Needy People: If you would like to share with people who come to the Parish Office for food, our cupboard is in need of packages of garbanzo, pink beans, rice and macaroni. Cans, our cupboard is in need of vegetables, tomatoe sauce and tuna. Thank you for your help!!
