Reminder: In your weekly envelopes, you will note there is an envelope for Saturday, November 1st, for Feast of All Saints Offering as well as an extra envelope for Sunday November 2nd. All Souls Day envelopes have an area where you can write your loved ones names for the Masses celebrated in commemoration of the Holy Souls which will be placed on the altar. Extra envelopes will be placed in the entrance of our Church.

Building Fund: There has been quite a jump in our Parish Hall Building Fund due to the fact that our vineyard property was finally sold.
St. Francis Retreat: Saturday, November 1st. All Saint's Day Retreat at the St. Francis Retreat in San Juan Bautista features Brother Bill Short, OFM, speaking on "Sanctity, Insanity and You--a fool for Christ." Includes lunch and dinner. Lectors: An evening of "Formation For Lectors and Preachers" will be hosted by the Diocese of Monterey at Nativity of Our Lady in San Luis Obispo on Wednesday, October 29th from 6:30--9:00 pm. Instruction will be in both English and Spanish. All Lectors and anyone

All Saints Day Party: Looking for better role models for Halloween? Try the Saints! All families are invited to join the Catholic Homeschooling Families for an All Saints Day Party here at Mission San Miguel on Saturday, November 1st at 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm. Children must come dressed as a Saint and be ready to say a few words about their Saint to help other children guess their identity. Hot dogs and carnival booths will be provided. Please bring one bag of candy per family and a beverage to share. For more information, call Vivienne Higuera at 237-9778.
San Miguel "Busy Bees": Will start taking orders for See's Candies after every Mass. Delivery will be on November 16th. All proceeds for our Building Fund.
Healing Mass: Sunday, October 26th, at 7:00pm at St. Rose by Fr. Ray Roh from Monastery of the Risen Christ. Everybody is invited.
St. Rose Youth Group: Is seeking help to send 12 delegates to the National Catholic Youth Conference in Houston, TX this November. They are having a raffle to help raise funds. $20.00 a ticket or 6 for $100.00. Grand prize is a 60" Mitsubichi big screen HDTV. 2nd Prize is a Mitsubishi DVD player.
