2004 ABA (Annual Bishop's Appeal):  The 2004 Annual Bishop's Appeal is coming up soon.  Our Parish Goal this year is $8,700.  I sincerely thank

you for your recent contributions ---the amount is down to $11,685 of pending pledges from last year for Sister Loretta's Fund.  I prayerfully ask you to check your account and, if at all possible, get current.  I leave you to think about all that God has given you and how you can share what you have with others.
Special Meeting for any Interested Parishioner:  Fr. Ray and Bishop Ryan invite you to a special regional meeting at which he and members of the Administrative Team will discuss the sexual abuse litigation cases pending against the Diocese of Monterey.  The meeting in our area will be held tomorrow Monday, January 26, 2004, at 7:00 pm in St. Paul's Church in Pismo Beach.

Marie Dennis Presentations:  Marie Dennis, Director of the Maryknoll Office for Global Concerns and Vice-President of Pax Christi International, will be making two appearances in San Luis Obispo.  On Tuesday, February 3rd at 7:00, at the Cal Poly Chumash Auditorium on the topic of The Human Face of Globalisation.  She will speak of her experiences in the Third World and the many progressive self-help economic and cultural enterprises that are emerging there.
