River "K" Pumpkin Patch & Corn Maze: Herb & Ginny Kunze  invite everyone to come check out their patch and corn maze. There are also horse drawn hay rides. You can get your pumpkins for carving too! Open daily at 9:00 am Oct. 1st through Oct. 31st. For information, call 239-7355 or 441-1233.

Mission San Miguel Christmas Party: Scheduled Dec. 15th at 6:30 pm at 10th Street Café in San Miguel. $15.00 per person. It will be a 5 course meal, family style. The restaurant will be open exclusively for us. Carols and a white elephant gift exchange if you wish to participate. If you wish to be a part of this gift exchange, please bring an item from your home, wrapped, for which you no longer have any use. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING! Tickets will be on sale after every Mass in November. Seating is limited to 44 people. Any questions, please call Karina Brucker at 237-2598.

San Miguel Senior Center: Will have a Rummage Sale on Saturday, Nov. 5th from 7am to 3pm and pancake breakfast from 8am to 11am for $5.00. San Miguel Senior Center, 601 12th St. in San Miguel. Fund raising for new kitchen floor.

Parish Hall Building Project: Don't forget to look at all the updates on the board provided by Dave Brucker after Mass.  The Building Committee has been working very hard. We have already seen surveyors, Mr. Hall--representing the Salinian Tribe, an archeologist-Professor Hoover. Hopefully we will be breaking ground in a few months!

Mission San Miguel Restoration Project: The Mission restoration workers have been working hard to get the gift shop and museum section finished. It looks like we will be able to move into the museum area for all our Masses, hopefully, the week of Thanksgiving!

Future Upcoming Fundraising Events for our Mission Restoration Fund and Parish Hall Building Fund:

  • Nov. 25th,26th,27th (Friday,Saturday,Sunday)Busy Bees Arts & Crafts Faire held at Mission San Miguel picnic grounds. From 8am to 4:00 pm. To benefit our Parish Hall Building Fund.

Happy Birthday Wishes  Go out to Ruben Soto on October 31st, Larry Mora on November 2nd, Ken Conway, Michael Yost and Chris Madden on November 3rd, Leonard Potter, Michael Barrett and Andrew Schmitz on November 5th. Special Announcement: This is to remind everyone that all Masses are now scheduled at Casa San Miguel. Daily Mass, Monday through Friday, at 7:00 am. Saturday Mass at 9:00 am and Confessions at 9:45 am. Baptisms are scheduled in English the 1st Saturday of the month and the 4th Saturday of the month in Spanish at Casa San Miguel. 

Christian Unity: Mark your calendars for Christian Unity week to be held January 18th through the 25th, as it is done every year. Further update will be forthcoming for the schedule and date of each church.

Busy Bees Bingo: Our next Bingo is scheduled for Friday, November 4th at the Senior Center in San Miguel. 5:30 pm to 6:30pm dinner served. 6:30 pm Bingo Starts. Come join this fun-loving group of people and also enjoy our delicious home cooked dinner.  Many beautiful door prizes! All Proceeds are for our Parish Hall Building Fund.

Raffle tickets are now on sale after every Mass for our beautiful and wonderful 12 prizes; $1.00 each or 12 tickets for $10.00. Drawing on Nov. 27th. Thank you for your support!
