Mission San Miguel Thanksgiving Arts, Crafts, and Food Faire

Mission San  Miguel, San Miguel, CA. . –Now that we’re in the middle of Fall, the air is crisp and the leaves turned magnificent colors, our thoughts begin to drift towards the Holidays and the warm feelings of hearth, home, family and community. With that in mind, the “Busy Bees”, some of North County’s finest artisans, crafters and cooks, working hard all year, will come together at Mission San Miguel, for a special Arts and Crafts Faire of “Simple Pleasures and Hand-made Treasures” to be held Friday November 28th and Saturday November 29th from 9:30a.m. to 4p.m. and Sunday November 30th from 8:00 am. until 4:00p.m.

This Faire will have something for everyone! All sorts of homemade goods such as candy, nut wreaths, soft baby afghans and knitwear, Christmas decorations and greeting cards, jewelry, toys, embroidery, gift baskets, as well as baked goods, food and LIVE music. In addition, this year’s raffle is the most exciting yet, because there will be four prizes! ----An original print done by national celebrity-comedian Phyllis Diller, an original painting by renown Mission artist Anthony Quartuccio, an exquisitely hand embroidered tablecloth and matching napkins for eight by Betty Arbogast, as well as a large print of a Cricket Johnson original Mission mural.

This is an event the whole family will enjoy and appreciate! --- Extend your Thanksgiving and kick off your Christmas season in this historic setting, while enjoying the music, food, fun, and hand-made treasures of these talented local craftsmen and cooks.

All event profits will benefit the Mission Parish Building Fund, which is dedicated to building another structure to house the parish for services and meetings while the old Mission church can be cleaned and retrofitted.
