Golf Tournament to Benefit Mission San Miguel’s Preservation Fund
Mission San Miguel, San Miguel, CA. . – A group of community boosters chaired by Don LaVallee and Adrian Heryford, is organizing the third annual “Friends of the Mission Golf Tournament”. Last year’s tournament raised over $43,251.00 for the Mission San Miguel Preservation Fund. This year they hope to do even better! The Tournament is being held at the beautiful Paso Robles Golf Club on Labor Day weekend: Saturday, September 2nd 2006. The Tournament will be a 4-person team scramble format with a 9A.M. Shotgun Start. The Barbecue and Raffle will begin after the golf tournament at approximately 2 P.M.
Golf enthusiasts take heed! –This is going to be a fun and lively event with all sorts of awards and prizes. From hole-in-one prizes of a new car and new tractor, team awards, longest drive and much more –there’s something for every kind of golfer!
And for the non-golfers, don’t feel left out! Join us for the Santa Maria Style Barbecue, Silent Auction, and Raffle - including a Mexican Riviera Cruise, a San Luis Obispo Aerial Tour, a Villa Toscano Honeymoon Weekend, and CASH.to name just a few items.
Tee Sponsorships are needed! For your tax-deductible $200.00 sponsorship you can advertise your business or dedicate the Tee to a loved- one’s memory.
Tournament entry fee is $125 per player, with a limit of 144 entries. The entry fee includes green fees, cart, refreshments, and Santa Maria Style Barbecue with wine hosted by David and Mary Weyrich. Guests are welcome. Barbecue & Raffle-only tickets are $25 per person.
Mission San Miguel, with its 209 year rich history, is the North County’s oldest historic landmark, and it’s important that we preserve it for future generations. Please join us in that effort!
