Vina Robles Winery invites you to Mission San Miguel on Saturday afternoon June 26th, Noon to 4 p.m. for an old-fashioned family BBQ and a fun afternoon of wine tasting, olive oil tasting and music to benefit Mission San Miguel’s Preservation Fund. The afternoon will feature a BBQ prepared by the San Miguel Lion’s Club and sponsored by Vons’, Vina Robles wine tasting, and local olive oil tasting with Templeton’s Olea Farm. Entertainment will include music, and a special raffle throughout the afternoon to benefit the Mission. “This is Vina Robles’ third fundraiser this year for the Mission San Miguel Preservation Fund. The community at large has been very responsive to these events, which already have raised over $5,000 in the six months since the program began” says Marc Laderriere, Vina Robles Sales and Marketing Director. The Mission suffered major damage in the December 2003 earthquake. “Millions of dollars will be needed to keep this local architectural treasure accessible and viable” says Laderriere, “The team at Vina Robles Winery is embracing the mission of taking baby steps toward raising these funds.
