Mission San Miguel Christmas Arts, Crafts and Food Faire

Posted on Oct 18, 2007

The Busy Bees of Mission San Miguel announce that they’ll be having their Annual Christmas Arts and Crafts Faire earlier this year on Saturday and Sunday, November 3rd and 4th in the renovated and retro-fit- improved Mission Classroom 8 A.M. – 4 P.M. both days. All proceeds will go towards the restoration of the Mission.

This year they’ll be joining forces with the San Miguel Senior Center which will feature their arts and crafts in the Mission’s adjacent Guadalupe Chapel. Those proceeds will go for the upkeep of their Senior Center.

The “Bees” have been working hard all year to make this annual event a success.

Highlighting this event will be all sorts of homemade goods which include embroidered kitchen dish towels, crochet & knitted baby blankets and regular crochet and knitted afghans, baby bibs, baby booties, crochet purses, hand made fabric bags, embroidered shirts, knitted scarves, hand made dressed stuffed animals, Christmas ornaments, hand made Christmas trees, microwave baked potato pouches, hand make aprons, dusters to attach to your broom, hand made place-mats, baked goods and latch hooked rugs.

They will also feature renowned Mission Artist Tony Quartuccio’s art which will be offered for sale.

There will also be an exciting Raffle with ten winners! The prizes include:
1) $200.00 cash prize
